|  | School district provides free summer meals as part of USDA program 6/14/2005 9:35 AMFree meals will be made available this summer to children under 19 years of age, and to handicapped persons (regardless of age) who participate in special education programs. The meals will be provided without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex or handicap.
The Summer Food Service Program, which is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), begins Monday, June 20, and ends Friday, Aug. 26. Meals will be available at more than 100 sites throughout the city, including churches, recreation centers and schools. Each site will serve breakfast and/or lunch, depending on their hours of operation. Below is a list of participating sites, which are subject to change. For information about specific sites, call the Saint Paul Public Schools Nutrition Services Department at (651) 603-4950.
