|  | Saint Paul teacher named Minnesota Teacher of the Year by Air Force Association
2/16/2005 12:55 PMJill Wall, aerospace coordinator at Farnsworth Aerospace Magnet Elementary School in Saint Paul, recently received two 2004 Teacher of the Year awards from the Minnesota Air Force Association.
The Gen. E. W. Rawlings Chapter Teacher of the Year Award and the Air Force Association Minnesota State Teacher of the Year Award were presented to Wall in recognition of her outstanding achievements in the field of aerospace education.
Wall, a teacher with the Saint Paul Public Schools for more than 20 years, said she was proud of her work to help Farnsworth build a world-class aerospace education program. Its amazing to be able to provide students with the types of opportunities we have here at Farnsworth and throughout the district, she said.
For being selected, Wall received a check for $1,000, a certificate, a personalized jacket and a free membership to the Civil Air Patrol.
