NASA Mobile Aerospace Education Lab coming to Farnsworth
5/5/2005 1:10 PM

"Houston, we have excitement."

From Monday, May 9 through Friday, May 13, students at Farnsworth Aerospace Magnet will be learning in the NASA Mobile Aerospace Education Lab.

The lab is a 53-foot trailer containing a state-of-the-art classroom that allows students to work extensively with new technologies related to science and math. Students will use
hands-on workstations to solve real-world aerospace challenges such as completing cross-country flights and exploring life aboard the International Space Station.

Farnsworth Aerospace Magnet, located at 1290 Arcade St., is one of 100 NASA Explorer Schools in the country. Farnsworth, which enrolls students from throughout Saint Paul, aims to provide challenging
aerospace-related academics that will prepare the next generation of explorers.
