Alternative programs offer flexible hours, a variety of locations and alternative teaching methods that allow students the opportunity to succeed in a school environment that supports the unique needs of non-traditional learners.

Adolescent Girls and Parenting Education
Serves students who are pregnant or currently parenting. Child care services are available to eligible students.

Elementary ALC Extended Day and Summer Session Programs
Elementary ALC manages extended day, intersession, and summer sessionprograms at all Saint Paul Public Schools elementary sites and partnerswith community organizations that offer academic programs forelementary age school children.

Creative Arts High School
Serves students 15-21 years of age who have a strong interest in the arts.

Evening High School
Offerssmall evening classes for students 16-21 years of age. Learners mayenroll as full-time students earning their diplomas or as dual-enrolledstudents earning credits needed for graduation from a traditional highschool program.

International Academy - LEAP
This program serves students who are new arrivals to the United States or who have limited English skills. International Academy- LEAP helps students from 9th to 12th grade to earn their high school diplomas or helps them transition to a traditional high school, post-secondary education, or career opportunities.

OnTrack
Serving middle school students with a non-traditional approach that builds the foundation for success in high school. This program is housed in the Hazel Park Middle School Academy building.

Saint Paul Connections
Have fun and earn a credit! Saint Paul Connections allows high school students an affordable way to explore a career and college majors.

Secondary Extended Day Programs
Provides students with additional learning opportunities beyond the regular school day at Saint Paul middle, junior high and senior high schools.
Summer School - Secondary
Offers students in grades 7-12 an opportunity for credit recovery and testprep classes to prepare for retesting in BST and MCA GRAD exams in Math, Reading, and Writing. Summer school is held at most middle and high schools from June 22-July 14. Students will be able to earn up to 3 quarter credits.
