I LOVE being the Curriculum Coordinator at Capitol Hill Gifted and Talented Magnet School. What a privilege it is for me to work with students, staff and families in this vibrant learning environment! In addition to being the literacy and math instructional coach with our staff, I am teaching 1st and 2nd graders as a gifted specialist utilizing creative and critical thinking skills, singing songs, with an added focus on service learning experiences. On Tuesdays, during lunch/recess, I work with 120+middle school students in a service-learning group called “We Act” who come and volunteer their time to help out in our school, community and world.

In my free time, I love being with my friends and family, hiking in the parks, riding my bike and traveling every chance I get. I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve at Capitol Hill.
