¡Hola! ¡Buenos días! ¡Mucho gusto!
Bienvenidos a la pagina web de Profesora Reynolds.
I am very excited to be teaching Spanish this year at Murray Middle School. I have been a teacher in Saint Paul Public Schools for twenty years in the MLL Department, supporting our English language learners. Although it is my third year at Murray Middle School, it is my first teaching Español.
The Spanish language has held an important place in my life since my early years. I took my first Spanish class at the age of seven in Los Angeles, where I grew up. I also took Spanish classes throughout high school and college. I attended a two-month summer exchange program in the north of Spain after graduating high school and spent my junior year of college attending the University of Madrid through Marquette University's Study Abroad program. I received my degree in Comparative Literature (Spanish and German) from the University of California, Berkeley.
Since that time, I have kept my Spanish fresh by serving as a support and translator for many Spanish-speaking families during my time at SPPS, as well as traveling to Spanish-speaking countries. I'm excited to bring my knowledge of language learning to the important task of teaching Murray students Spanish, as well as helping them to become global citizens.
I look forward to having lots of fun learning Spanish with our Murray community! Please feel free to email me at email@example.com or call (651) 293-8740 with any questions you might have.
