Educational Equity
The Office of Educational Equity (OEE) oversees the Saint Paul Public Schools multifaceted efforts to ensure that all students and families have equal access to a quality education and an equal opportunity to learn to high academic standards.

This office monitors the Saint Paul Public Schools Inclusiveness Plan and ensures that the district complies with equity provisions of the Minnesota Department of Education.

The Office of Educational Equity includes the Multicultural Resource Center, Inter-District Classroom Partnerships, Out for Equity, the Title IX compliance and inter- and intra-district inclusiveness (desegregation) initiatives. The office also assists with numerous school and community partnership efforts.  OEE serves as the administrative liaison with Saint Paul Public Schools sponsored charter schools:  Achieve Language Academy, Community of Peace Academy, Face To Face, New Spirit School, Twin Cities Academy and Twin Cities Academy High School.  OEE also has responsibility for facilitating cultural proficiency efforts in Saint Paul Public Schools.

The Office of Educational Equity is the liaison with the East Metro Integration District (EMID) and oversees urban/suburban partnerships and program opportunities between Saint Paul Public Schools and EMID member districts (Roseville, North Saint Paul/Maplewood/Oakdale, Mahtomedi, White Bear Lake, Spring Lake Park, Stillwater, South Washington County, Inver Grove Heights, South Saint Paul, and West Saint Paul). These opportunities include the 5-District Integration Partnership, teacher and classroom partnership and mentoring programs, Project Common Ground and other intra-district opportunities that create or expand an inclusive learning environment.
