St. Paul Works To Cut Costs On School Lunches
The average price for a gallon of milk is $3.78. That's up about 10 cents a gallon from last year. That's not the only thing going up: so are school lunches. Elementary students in St. Paul will pay $1.75, while older kids will pay $2. School officials are doing everything they can to stretch their bottom line. High food prices are bringing some changes to St. Paul school lunches. It costs a lot to serve up 30,000 lunches a day.
