Saint Paul, Minn – Saint Paul Public Schools is submitting a waiver request to operate the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, during the traditional school calendar year on school breaks. The request will be to operate at designated Saint Paul and Recreation Department sites where the SFSP operated this past summer.
The waiver request will be presented to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The USDA is an equal opportunity provider and employer. The Summer Food Service Program is an effort to ensure that children in lower-income areas continue to receive nutritious meals during school vacations.
