|  | Saint Paul Public School District Celebrates Scholastic Stars

Saint Paul, Minn.-- On May 21, 76 graduating seniors and 68 teachers
from the Saint Paul Public School District were recognized for their
academic achievements and efforts at the 2006 Saint Paul Public School
District Celebration of Excellence.
Those students honored at the event represent the top of their class at
each school in the district. They were chosen for their overall
academic achievements and all represent the best that Saint Paul has to
offer.
In turn, the students each chose the teacher who had the most influence
on their success during their academic career. Those teachers will be
honored at the celebration for their contributions.
"The students and teachers we're honoring on Sunday are examples of the
incredible people we have in this district," said Lou Kanavati, interim
superintendent of the Saint Paul Public School District. "We're proud
to showcase their achievements and we know they've got a bright future
ahead of them."
