Saint Paul Public Schools unveils Web site renovation
Saint Paul, Minn.- With input from Saint Paul Public Schools (SPPS) families, staff andcommunity members, the district has redesigned its Web site to bebetter organized while making information more accessible and engaging.
Therecently unveiled redesign is the result of months of work with focusgroups and the use of surveys in which district officials were toldthat a new design should include pull-down menus, pathways catered tospecific audiences and the need for fewer clicks in order to get to theinformation.
In the coming months, all SPPS programs and schoolWeb sites will be redesigned to match the district's homepage, whilestill allowing for each community to showcase its individuality.
"Webelieve that our community's experience with the Web site will be moreefficient, pleasant and productive," said Chief Community RelationsOfficer Christine Wroblewski. "We have designed it to be a quick andreliable way for our community to find information about our schools, programs and services."
The best way for people to experiencethe new Web site is by spending a few moments to navigate it forthemselves. Throughout the school year, SPPS will continue to addoptions and features. The new Web site belongs to all of the district'scommunities and with continued input from those communities, it willcontinue to be the trusted home for SPPS news.
To give input, go to www.spps.org and take the brief survey on the right side of the home page.
