Jackson Elementary Students Look To The Future at Career Fair

    During Jackson's first ever career fair, SPPS high school students and teachers spent a day presenting eight different career possibilities for Jackson students to consider. From agriculture and aviation to robotics and technology, attendees received hands-on demonstrations and lessons about potential career choices. Sponsored by the district's Career and Technical Education program, students were also encouraged to find out more about SPPS education pathways in middle school, high school and beyond.

SPPS Students Challenged in Culinary Arts Competition at Saint Paul College

  •  
    Family and Consumer Science students from seven schools participated in this year’s Culinary Arts Competition. Participants were required to create a unique three-course meal in one hour. Executive chefs from popular Twin Cities restaurants sampled meal creations, interviewed competitors, and judged the competition. Students from this year’s winning team were awarded professional cooking tools for their personal use.
