Parent Academy helps parents become active participants in their child’s learning
Saint Paul Public Schools (SPPS) Parent Academy is a free seven-week program designed especially for parents and guardians of children that attend SPPS. The academy provides a framework for creating a community in which parents and teachers collaborate with one another to transform each child’s educational experience at home and at school, so all children can achieve and be prepared to attend college. In December 2011, nearly 300 parents graduated from the program. Hear what some of the proud parents had to say about the academy during the Second Annual Parent Academy Graduation ceremony.
