| Driver education classes for deaf/hard-of-hearing students available 5/16/2005 3:05 PMSaint Paul Community Education will offer a driver education class with American Sign Language interpreters for deaf/hard-of-hearing students. This will be the last Community Education driver education class with interpreters offered until the summer of 2006. The class will run from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday, July 11 - Tuesday, July 26 at Central Senior High School, 275 N. Lexington Pkwy., Saint Paul. The course, which is open to adults and students who are at least 15-years-old, consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction and six hours of behind-the-wheel education. It costs $280 for Saint Paul residents or students in the Saint Paul Public Schools and $290 for others. Applications are available by visiting the Community Education offices in each Saint Paul Public high school.
