| Review the school district’s new strategic plan at upcoming meetings 11/29/2006 3:31 PMFor the past few months, Superintendent Meria Carstarphen and school district staff have been developing and revising a new strategic plan, which outlines how efforts and resources will be prioritized to accelerate student achievement in the Saint Paul Public Schools through 2009. The draft plan specifies how the district intends to achieve goals ranging from recruiting and retaining a highly qualified and diverse staff to helping students meet high academic standards. Your feedback on the plan is important! Please plan to attend one of the five meetings listed below from 6:00 pm. to 8:30 pm. to find out more about the draft plan, ask questions, and offer feedback: Wednesday, Jan. 10 6-8:30 p.m. Rondo Education Center, Red Atrium 560 Concordia Ave. Thursday, Jan. 18 6-8:30 p.m. Highland Park Junior High, Cafeteria 975 S. Snelling Ave. Monday, Jan. 22 6-8:30 p.m. John A. Johnson Elementary, Cafeteria 740 York Ave. Tuesday, Jan. 30 6-8:30 p.m. Arlington High School, Great Hall 1495 Rice St. Thursday, Feb. 1 6-8:30 p.m. Humboldt Senior High, Cafeteria 30 E. Baker St. Families can attend whichever meeting is most convenient for them. Child care will be available, as will interpreters. |
