Promote your school on channel 16

The school district's educational access cable channel 16 provides airtime for school and student produced videos that can be shared with the community.

Promote the unique activities in your school by sending ready-to-air footage--of band concerts, choir concerts, plays, spelling bees, or other noteworthy events--through school mail to:

The Office of Community Relations-Television Division at Central High School. Please include your contact information when submitting items.

We can use programs of any length and in these video formats:
  • VHS, SVHS;
  • MiniDV,
  • Quicktime video file, or;
  • DVD
If sending videotape, we prefer that you have a minute of blank video before the beginning of the program.  If you have any questions, please call Rich Currier at 651-632-6014.

2008 State of the District Address
was themed around "belief" The address coincides with the release of the district's 2008 Annual Report.

Regular Meetings of the Board of Education
airs live from the Districts Administration Building the 3rd Tuesday of each month. At 5:45 PM. The meetings are replayed 6 additional times. The airing dates are on the following Saturday at 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM and Tuesday at10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

Central High Schools Morning News (CHS) is broadcast live every Friday morning at 9:25 A.M. Students from Central broadcasting class inform the school community of the schools events.
 
"Making It Real"is a video produced in 2007 by Saint Paul Public Schools' Nutrition Services. Learn about initiatives that Nutrition Services is currently involved in and the values and vision that drive the program.  See how Nutrition Services staff work to create, deliver and serve healthy food that kids love!
