Saint Paul Schools to Hold Public Forums on Superintendent Search
11/30/2005 11:45 AM

Saint Paul, Minn — The Saint Paul Public School District is holding
public forums to provide parents, students, staff, and any Saint Paul
resident the opportunity to give feedback on the qualities Saint Paul
should be looking for in a new superintendent of schools. Any and all
feedback from the meetings, held Dec. 6, 7 and 8, will be used to guide
the school board's selection of the school district's next
superintendent.

The forums will be held three times a day on each day, as follows:

"This feedback is vital," said Elona Street-Stewart, chair of the Saint
Paul Public School's Board of Education. "We're choosing a leader who
will be responsible for the education of children throughout Saint Paul
-- your children. We need to know what parents, students, staff,
community leaders and Saint Paul residents want from that leader."

If you can't attend the forums, please respond to an online survey at http://www.spps.org/Superintendent_Search_2005.html. Request a hard copy of the survey at 651-767-8149, or pick one up at the front desk at 360 Colborne St., Saint Paul, MN 55102.
