High School Credential Options for Adults
  • The Hubbs Center offers two options for adults who do not have a traditional high school diploma, the GED (General Educational Development) and our Adult Diploma Program (ADP).  Having this essential credential opens the door to higher education and better employment opportunities since both are accepted by employers and colleges.

    Which one is right for me, GED or ADP?
     
    Below is a brief, side by side look at the two programs.  For more details on each program, please click on the links to the left.

     As of 3/8/2017, the GED Tests are no longer free.  The funds have been depleted.  
    GED Tests are $30 each and retests are $10 each.
     
     

Starting April 3 through May 15, students can save 50% off any GED Ready practice test purchased through GED.com.

To save, students should:

  • Log into GED.com
  • Click the "Study" tab and select “ Take GED Ready”
  • Enter the code GEDGO at checkout

Important details to remember:

  • This is a limited time offer and only available April 3 - May 15
  • Students must buy and use their discounted GED Ready practice test by May 15
  • Any discounted practice tests not taken by May 15 will be cancelled and payment will be refunded 

The passing score for GED Testing is 145.

The original passing score was 150, but was changed in early 2015.  The new passing score is retroactive to all tests going back to January 1, 2014.  Log into your GED account for more information on how it will affect any tests already taken since 1-1-2014.  Additional information is available at GED.com.
 
 
The GED© Tests changed on January 1, 2014.  Since this date, the GED©Tests are only administered on computer at certified GED© Testing Centers.  Registration for all GED© Testing must be completed online at ged.com or by calling 1-877-392-6433 (1-877-EXAM-GED).  The Hubbs Center is a certified GED© Test Center; however, all registration, scheduling, and payment must be completed online at ged.com or by calling 1-877-392-6433.   The Hubbs Center and Hub@Harding offer free GED© preparation classes.
