The school district's educational access cable channel 16 provides airtime for school and student produced videos that can be shared with the community.
Promote the unique activities in your school by sending ready-to-air footage--of band concerts, choir concerts, plays, spelling bees, or other noteworthy events--through school mail to:
The Office of Community Relations-Television Division at Central High School. Please include your contact information when submitting items.
We can use programs of any length and in these video formats:
- VHS, SVHS;
- MiniDV,
- Quicktime video file, or;
- DVD
If sending videotape, we prefer that you have a minute of blank video before the beginning of the program. If you have any questions, please call Rich Currier at 651-632-6014.

The 17th Annual Honors Concert & Art Exhibit showcased the talents of the "best of the best" high school musicians, vocalists and artists in the Saint Paul Public Schools. Over 300 students participated in the concert that featured works by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Ralph Vaughn Williams as well as musical selections originating from Zimbabwe and Jamaica.
Cherokee Heights presents Ms. Brzinski's 4th Grade Class celebrates "The Biggest Achievers!" The students worked together to create a production on living and staying healthy. The students researched what activities would be needed to create a healthy lifestyle! Watch and see who wins this race!
Cherokee Heights presents Mr. Linner's Class on their adventure of "Flight School". The students prepared for the Cherokee Science Fair by enrolling in "Mr. Linner's Flight School". They learned about controlled flight, lighter than air flight, heavier than air flight and aerodynamics! Join Flight School today!
Cherokee Heights First Graders from Ms. Lang, Ms. Schones and Senora Herrera joined together to make a wonderfully cute production mixing song and dance with The Sneetches and The "9" Little Pigs!
“Thinking College Early: The Essentials” by Dennice Gooley of the Minnesota Office of Higher Education. Thinking College Early Fair was Saturday, Feb. 23, it was a event to get students as young as 12 and 13 – and their families – to start planning for education after high school. “College” doesn’t only mean a traditional four-year college – it could be a two-year community college, business college or vocational school. Dennice sets the stage for the planning after graduating from high school.
"Talking About Education" (Spanish) Mr. Juan Matus, Coordinator of the Instituto de los Mexicanos en el Exterior (IME) and representative of the Mexican Consulate in Saint Paul. Mr. Matus will present on what services are provided by the Consulate and how families can access these services
K-12 TV - Episode #57 In the first segment, Commissioner Alice Seagren interviews Department of Public Safety Commissioner Michael Campion and Commander Neil Nelson, Minnesota Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, regarding online safety.In the second segment, commissioner Campion returns with guest Wade Setter, director of the school Safety Center. This new center was recently established within the Minnesota Department of Pubic Safety to coordinate school safety planning.
