Mrs. Erickson

  • First grade is a very exciting time in your child's life. This year we will spend a lot of time teaching reading, writing, and math skills. Much of the learning will take place in small groups or with a partner. Reader's Workshop involves a short mini-lesson, guided reading groups, and literacy work time. Everyday Math provides fun opportunities for your child to learn using math games and manipulatives. Writer's Workshop focuses on using real life experiences and memories. This is going to be an awesome year!!
