My name is Hannah Riederer (pronounced Reed-er-er). I am proud to be a teacher at Murray Middle School. Coming back to Murray as a teacher is special because I attended Murray as a student. This school is filled with memories of the amazing teachers I connected with, lessons I learned in the classrooms and friends that I build relationships with while a student here. My goal is for every student here to have as positive of an experience as I had at Murray. I also want them to know themselves and the possibilities out there for them so that they can start to map their path to post-secondary and career success.
I love helping students grow as individuals into their full potential. That is why it is honor to work as a teacher. This year I have the opportunity to co-teach both math and reading classes, as well as teach skills classes. No day is ever boring and I find myself smiling and laughing everyday with kids. I want to thank all the parents and guardians for entrusting me, along with the Murray teaching team, with the task of educating your child. It is the most important job in the world and one I never take for granted.
Besides teaching, my family is the center of my life right now. I have three young children. My daughter Charlotte is two, and twin babies, Judah and Levi. Together, we love to take in all that Saint Paul has to offer. We frequent our cities farmer's markets, parks, playgrounds, libraries and museums. Of course, we also love books! Reading with my children is one of my favorite things to do.
