Ms. Phillips
Hello!
I am a school social worker and part of the special education team at Murray. My role as a school social worker is to assist students and staff with additional support intended to promote academic success. This will be my sixth school year. I graduated from Smith College with a BA in Psychology in 1996 and then earned a Masters in Social Work from the University of St. Thomas/St. Catherine’s University in 2014. It took me a while to figure out how to combine my interests but I am grateful for my experiences along the way and for where I am now. Middle school students are so wonderful and REAL.
I am a graduate of SPPS (Groveland, Ramsey, Central) and have two high schoolers of my own who attend SPPS. When not working, I enjoy walking my dog, reading, watching college football/basketball, and spending time with my family and friends.
I am looking forward to a great year!
