Elementary Summer Learning Programs Overview

    Students in grades K-7 who enroll in Summer Session 1 or Summer Session 2 receive academic support in reading, writing and math – all in a classroom environment that is different from the regular school year. Summer Learning Program teachers have the flexibility to adapt to many learning styles and focus on subjects in depth. In Summer Learning Programs, students receive the support they may need to succeed during the next school year.

    SUMMER LEARNING PROGRAMS TIMES AND LOCATIONS

    This a list of times and locations of Summer Learning Programs sites for elementary, middle and high schools. The list also includes Digital Credit Recovery and CDF Freedom School sites. Sites are listed by grade levels for a student's current grade.

    CDF FREEDOM SCHOOLS

    A six-week program that strengthens literacy and math skills. Field trips, the arts and books celebrate the culture of the students, building leadership, pride and persistence.

  • Summer CampOTHER SUMMER PROGRAMS

    Students currently in grades K-11 can participate in sports, arts, environmental and cultural programs with other students from across the metro area. These summer programs are offered at no cost to students.

    Transportation is available to most students attending a Summer Learning Program based on the Area of the student’s home or alternate address.
