CEC Innovation Grant

  • This grant is designed to foster innovative projects and curriculum that…

    • promote student engagement and achievement
    • are culturally responsive and standards-based
    • can be replicated by other educators

    Guidelines:
    • Up to $300 is available per project
    • This is open to licensed and non-licensed SPPS staff who work directly with students
    • People can apply individually or in teams
    • All grant funds must be spent by May 31, 2018
    • Funds may be used on materials or experiences that directly impact student engagement and achievement
    • The grant recipient must agree to share the project or curriculum with the MRC in electronic form, so that it can be made available publicly
    • The grant recipient must agree to submit a final report by June 30, 2018
    • Projects that highlight student voice and choice are given priority
    • Projects or curriculum that align with least one Common Core or Minnesota state standard are given priority

    To Submit: Proposals can be submitted through our application form.
    Proposals will be considered on the 1st of each month, through May 1, 2018
    Grantees will be notified by the 5th of the month in which the application was received
