Welcome to the Library!
Come on down to the Cougar Grounds!
Coffee. Cappuccino. Latte. Hot Chocolate.
Hot tea. Iced Coffee. Mocha.
After teaching English for over 20 years, I'm thrilled to be Como's new Librarian! I hope to revolutionize the library at Como, to offer new services to support our students, to inspire community, build relationships, and to be culturally inclusive and relevant. I'm excited about education and love the kids I have the privilege to work with.
In my free time, I love to travel. Many of my trips have changed how I see the world and my place in it. That journey that changed me as a human most was when I adopted my daughter from an orphanage in Ukraine. The trip that changed me as an educator was visiting schools in N.W. Uganda on a mission trip. Let's just say, I am so grateful!
Students, come on down, I'm here to help. The library has so much to offer and this Cougar Den is for you!
