Where can your kids find the books they want to read?
St. Paul Public Libraries
LibraryGo accounts are active year-round, so students can check out digital materials to read or listen to on their personal devices OR check out up to 5 print copies from any SPPL branch. Student's Library Go Barcode number is 22091600 + ID Number (6 digits) and PIN is your birthdate (MMDDYYYY). Families may also find the SPPL Bookmobile in their neighborhood.

St. Paul Public Library Summer Spark
Read and earn prizes! Summer Spark encourages kids to have fun, stay active, and keep learning all summer long. Join in the fun by attending free programs at your library and earning prizes by completing reading and activity challenges!
Red Balloon's Summer Reading Bingo
Collect bingos to earn prizes from Red Balloon and other Grand Avenue businesses. Blackout all the squares on your bingo card and return it to Red Balloon by August 27 and you'll be invited to the Super Secret End of Summer Party!
Barnes & Nobles Joy of Reading
Participation is a fun and easy way for kids to earn free books. They simply read a designated number of books, write about their favorite part in a Reading Journal, and bring a completed Reading Journal to a Barnes & Noble bookstore. Children then choose their free book from the books listed on the Reading Journal. This year, Barnes & Noble has expanded the program to include teens and adults.

Half Price Books Feed Your Brain
Add up your minutes and have your parent or guardian initial each week. Once you've reached 300 minutes or more, bring your reading log into your local HPB store to claim your Bookworm Bucks on or before August 29, 2019.
Saint Paul Public Schools, in coordination with other local organizations offers free summertime snacks and meals at several locations. Snacks and meals are for anyone 18 and under. One meal per person. Food must be consumed on site during meal times.
