The goal of Come Teach in Minnesota is to support districts in recruiting and retaining teachers who are American Indian or teachers of color to move to and teach in Minnesota.
SY23-24 Hiring & Retention Bonuses for Hard-to-Fill Positions
In partnership with the Saint Paul Federation of Educators (SPFE) and Teamsters bargaining groups, Saint Paul Public Schools is offering hiring and retention bonuses for specific hard-to-fill positions for the 2023-24 school year. The first 70 special education licensed educators hired will be eligible for a $10,000 bonus, to be paid in three installments over two years. Other positions are eligible for $2,000-$4,000 in bonuses.
