My name is Carolyn Chisholm and I am an academic support teacher at Highwood Hills.  On a typical day, you can find me working with small reading groups, overseeing our MN Math Corps tutors, or teaching STEM and enrichment in the Learning Lab.  I started in 2006, and this is my 5^th year at Highwood Hills.  I am also an St. Paul Public Schools alumni and parent.  I have a BA from UMD in Elementary Education, Literature, and Psychology and a MA in Elementary Education from the University of the People.  My favorite part of the day is watching students develop confidence in themselves when they start to understand a new concept.   

Why I love Highwood Hills 

I love Highwood Hills because of the close connections that I am able to make with the students, families, and staff.  The small community allows us to be creative and flexible to ensure that all students get the attention and education that they deserve.
