My name is Kim Carter and I am the full time Speech-Language Pathologist that works at Obama Elementary.  I currently work with the ECSE classroom as well as Pre-K through 2nd grade.  The students that I work with all have some type of communication disorder, including Articulation (how sounds/words are produced), Receptive Language (how they understand language), Expressive Language (how they express their wants/needs and ideas), Fluency (stuttering) or Voice (Quality of their voice).

I graduated with my Undergraduate degree from the University of Manitoba with a major in Psychology and my Masters degree in Communication Disorders, from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

I have been working as a Speech Pathologist for over twenty years and I have had the opportunity to work with children through adults in a variety of settings.
