Malka Key joins EXPO Elementary School this year after working as a speech-language pathologist in the Anoka-Hennepin school district for seven years. She has an undergraduate degree in linguistics from Brown University in Providence, RI and a Masters Degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Minnesota — Twin Cities.
When not at EXPO, Ms. Key enjoys working backstage on theater productions. Malka has stage managed for Theatre in the Round Players, the Gilbert and Sullivan Very Light Opera Company, and several others. The educator is also active in the Minnesota Speech-Language-Hearing Association, currently serving as the State Education Advocacy Leader for Minnesota.
Although Malka grew up in Wisconsin, she currently lives in Minneapolis and enjoys visiting family in many states, including Wisconsin, Iowa, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and California.
