Mrs. Greenwalt’s 5th Grade
A Place to BELONG, A Place to BECOME
Welcome to your child’s 5th grade year. I am so excited for our year to begin! We are going to have a great time in our class and we are going to learn so much together. We will all be working together as a team with a common goal – that goal is to educate and nurture your son or daughter. 5th grade will be a challenging year requiring much more independence and rigor from your child. The rewards for active participation in your child’s education are sometimes hard to see on a day to day basis, but they will manifest themselves down the road, I assure you!
My classroom will be a nurturing and safe learning environment for your child to grow. It is my hope that your child has an extremely positive year filled, not only with tremendous growth, but a lot of joy and laughter as well. I will do everything to make this possible!
Parents, I am here for you and your child should you have any questions or concerns. Please contact me via email as I am able to read and answer throughout the day. In an emergency, please call the office at 651-325-2500 and have them deliver a message to the classroom.
Thank you so much for your help and support, please don't hesitate to contact me at any time. My door is always open.

My husband, Nathan, and I have three kids Noah (16), Noelle (14), Nora (13). I have been a CH parent for 11 years. My son is in 11th grade/PSEO student and my girls, Noelle is in 9th grade, Nora is in 8th grade at Capitol Hill. In my spare time, I love to be outside, garden, walk, run, sing, travel and spend time with my family.
