Welcome everyone! I am very excited to be your childs' teacher this upcoming school year! This year is a unique school year. I am the First and Second grade split teacher.

I was born and raised in Minnesota. I attended Eastview Senior High School, then continued my education at Metropolitan State University, 

I am licensed to teach K-6th grade and this will be my fourth year teaching at Benjamin E. Mays I have been in the education field since 2014. I have taught a variety of different grades over the years.

When I am not teaching at school I am a busy mom at home! I have three daughters who keep me moving, playing, and cleaning the house. I have a dog. She is a Red Fox Lab and her name is Stella.

I am very big on school and home communication. I love to talk and get to know all my students' families, so please reach out at any time. I am always here to talk.

I can’t wait to meet all my new students and also see returning students.
