Mr. Theodore Carroll
¡Hola!
My name is Mr. (Profe) Theodore Carroll. The 2023/2024 school year will be my fifth year teaching Spanish at Como Park. I am from the Twin Cities originally, but have also lived and taught in Chicago, IL, and the Washington, DC, metro area. I have had the great fortune of traveling and studying in Spain, Mexico, and Argentina. I have a B.A. in Spanish and International Relations from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, IA. I also have a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Loyola University Chicago, and a M.A. in Latin American Studies from George Washington University. I am passionate about education, helping young people, and learning about the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. In my free time, I enjoy following European soccer and spending time with my family.
In the fall semester, I am teaching three sections of Spanish 2 (during periods 2A, 2B, and 3B), as well as Spanish 4(period 3A), Spanish 5 (period 4B) and AVID 9 (period 4A). All of my coursework can be found in Schoology.
