Welcome Back to School 2019!
Students returned to Saint Paul Public Schools on Tuesday, Sept. 3. Here are some images from the first week back.
Superintendent Joe Gothard joined 3M volunteers to hand out backpacks full of new school supplies to students at Battle Creek Elementary. The 3M "Stuff for School" program began in 1995 and annually provides new school supplies for more than 16,000 students at 36 schools.

I am happy to welcome our students back and open the 2019-2020 school year. Thank you to the countless members of our staff who prepared buildings, hired staff, led professional learning and so much more

Started my day at @CherokeeSPPS and saw this outside of the school counselor’s door. Look who I ran into while visiting @washingtontech this afternoon. Our @UMNews CIS Exploring the Teaching Profession students. PostSecondary planning is essential. This year we start the tradition of a PostSecondary school visit during the first week of school for all our juniors and seniors. Connecting students to life after high school has always been important to me. I’m so excited for them today! https://t.co/91Qx5Za6dm— Kristen Lynch (@SPPSLynch) September 5, 2019
