Ms. Chanel Sasse

Welcome to E2! I am a first year teacher, and I am so excited to start my journey in the classroom! I have been working with young people for the past 7 years as a teaching assistant, children’s librarian, and after-school literacy coach. I also spent the past year here at Crossroads, working in the I-Zone, teaching intersession, student teaching, and guest teaching. I teach because I love to share the joy of discovery. I have high expectations and unconditional positive regard for each student.

When I’m not at Crossroads, I am a graduate student at Hamline University, working on my Master’s of Arts in Teaching. I also have a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Knox College. I enjoy playing my banjo-ukelele, singing, traveling, visiting family and friends, listening to podcasts, reading, yoga, square dancing, and riding my bike.
