My name is Yaritzy Sorenson and I am one of the special education teachers at Cherokee Heights. I am the center-based Autism (ASD) room teacher. The children call me Ms. Sorenson. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. I love working here because of the wonderful students, dedicated staff and the fantastic community. I grew up on the West Side of St. Paul and attended Cherokee Heights as a child and enjoy coming to work and continue to be part of the community.
