Welcome to the Intervention Page!
My name is Carolyn Chisholm, and I am an intervention teacher at Highwood Hills. I started teaching in 2006, and have taught in St. Paul and Los Angeles. I am also a proud graduate of St. Paul Public Schools. I have a B.A. in Elementary education from the University of Minnesota Duluth, and I am finishing a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of the People.
When I am not at school, I enjoy time with my husband, Luis, son, Manny, daughter, Lella, and dog, Mak. We love to spend time outside, read books, and listen to music.
This is my fourth year at Highwood Hills, and I love being part of this community. My typical day consists of Learning Lab, Reading Intervention, PreK Specialist time, and collaborating with our tutor from Minnesota Reading Corps. I am very excited to connect with everyone when we return to the building, but until then you can reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
