Miss Furlong here! I cannot wait for PreK to begin this year! I'm Miss Furlong and I will be your Physical Education teacher this school year! This is my 4th year being a Phy Ed teacher. Before becoming a Phy Ed teacher I worked with SPPS as a Teachers Assistant and Playworks Coach for 5 years.

I graduated from Bethel University with a degree on Educational Studies with Physical Education emphasis. I went back to school through TeachNow to get my Physical Education and Health License.

When I'm not teaching you can find me in the summer working on my garden, paddle boarding out on the lake and finding a good book series to read outside in my hammock. In the fall I love watching the Minnesota Vikings games, working out at the gym and hiking at the pumpkin patch. In the winter I love cross country skiing, ice skating and playing video games. Finally in the spring you will find me coaching high school track and field and playing soccer. I love all areas of sports and physical activity and cannot wait to get started!
