Hi SPPS family,

I am Courtney Newman, currently a SUTR resident in training to become a licensed teacher. I am former students of SPPS and have been an emplyee since 2018. I have worked at Benjamin E. Mays as a Teaching Assistant and I will be new to SPMA this year. In my undergraduate years, I attended Tennessee State University, an HBCU in Nashville which I call a second home. I enjoy traveling, spending time with family, also spending time alone (I'm somewhat of an introvert) and of course teaching! I am looking forward to this being a successful school year.
