Polly Neumann-Anderson

  • Hello Parkway Community,

My name is Polly Neumann and I am a special education teacher who works to support pre-algebra and algebra. I was raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and attended Milwaukee Public Schools. I have two children, Jack and Noelle, who reside in Madison.

I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison. I taught in Madison Public Schools for over 20 years. For the past 6 years, I have been teaching in the twin cities areas and this is my fourth year teaching at Parkway. I completed my Masters at Grand Canyon University this past spring.

For over 26 years, I have worked at the middle school level and LOVE it!. This age group keeps me motivated to continue learning, as they are interesting, active and talkative. I learn as much from them as I hope they do from me. I am easily distracted, so the energy at Parkway keeps me engaged. As I never know what will happen each day, but know something will happen, I am excited to be where all the fun is. Parkway!

Students will discover that I am quick to laugh and engage in conversations. In the summer as well as other off days, I enjoy gardening, reading, music, art, walking and playing with my dog, Otto. I look forward to continuing my journey with previous students and families and getting to know all the new members of our community. It is going to be a great year!
