Welcome!

My name is Alice Williams and I teach 2nd grade at Obama Elementary. I started teaching at Obama in the 2020-2021 school year and I'm so excited to be a part of the Obama family! For the last couple years I taught as a Title One teacher and a 3rd grade teacher in Saint Paul Public Schools, and prior to that I taught 1st grade out in Colorado and worked as a full time sub and TA in the Maplewood-North St. Paul-Oakdale district. 

I have my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from University of Wisconsin - River Falls and my Master's Degree from University of Colorado - Boulder in Curriculum and Instruction with an Emphasis in Literacy.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and my dogs, hiking, climbing, camping, gardening and reading!

I love teaching and learning and hope to inspire my students to become life-long learners as well!
