The Eastside Family Center, located near the school enterance, is the place to stop for baisc needs like food, clothing, baby/infant necessities, and employment or housing support.
Our Family Center is run by Sarah Isdahl, a family coach, who focus their efforts on supporting families and getting them the resources they need to be happy, healthy, and successful. Family coaches work within specific program areas like youth literacy, adult education, food support and parent and early childhood education. Neighborhood House’s Family Centers help stabilize families in crisis by meeting basic needs. Services are tailored to address family history, income and housing status on a case-by-case basis.
Our Family Center location is a one-stop-shop for services and referrals. Participants and staff work together to identify needs, discuss potential solutions, and create a plan for the future.
Our Family Center hosts several events each year, bringing people together and building a strong community. Activities include roller-skating parties, halloween celebrations, and commnity baby showers.
