  • Hello! My name is Regina Scheuring, but the students call me Ms. Gina. I am excited to begin the school year as an EL Teacher at Randolph Heights. This year, I will be part-time at Randolph Heights and part-time at Horace Mann. I worked in SPPS as a Bilingual (Spanish) EA for six years while attending graduate school to obtain my K-12 ESL license. Prior to joining the staff at Randolph Heights, I taught at Wellstone Elementary for ten years and Riverview Elementary for three years. This is my 14th year as an EL teacher.

I live in St. Paul, where I was born and raised. I graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in Spanish. I later attended Hamline University for my ESL Licensure and Master of Arts in Teaching with a literacy focus. Outside of school, I love spending time at the cabin with my family. I have a twin sister, a younger brother, and six nieces and nephews. We love to swim, play golf, sit around the bonfire, and take long pontoon rides on the lake. My dog, Pickles, loves to swim, too! I am a hockey fan and going to Wild games is one of my favorite things to do. I can't wait to get back to a game in person!

Those are just a few things about me. I look forward to getting to know all of you and to working our way through through distance learning together!
