My name is Jessica Angell Allen, I am a DAPE teacher (Developmental Adapted Physical Education) for 3-11 year old's for many schools in the district.  I am so excited to be able to work at Como Elementary for part of my school day.  I worked at Harding High School in general physical education for 18 years as well as spent many of those years coaching swimming and track.  I graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2001 and received my Masters in Education and Instruction from St. Marys in Winona in 2004.  I recently went back to school, Bethel University in St. Paul to pursue my adapted physical education certificate to continue my career in special education.  I have enjoyed every part of my career but my passion has always been in working with student's in special education.  My favorite saying that represents my life and career is.......
