My name is Emma Hohlen. I started my teaching career at Humboldt in 2020. I teach English as a Second Language and I co-teach in math and social studies. I became a teacher because I love working with students!

I have a bachelor's degree in Spanish and Global Studies and a master's degree in ESL and Spanish Education, both from the University of Minnesota.

When I am not teaching, I also love to travel and spend time outdoors. I also enjoy watching sports, especially the Minnesota Gophers.

Mi nombre es Emma Hohlen. Empecé mi carrera en educación aquí en Humboldt en el 2020. Enseño Inglés como idioma segunda y también trabajo en clases de matemáticas y estudios sociales. ¡Soy maestra porque me encanta trabajar con estudiantes!

Tengo el bachillerato en español y estudios globales y la maestría en educación de inglés y español, ambos de la Universidad de Minnesota.
