Ms. Lynda Brock
Ms. Brock has worked with children in various capacities for over 20 years as a private educator, led groups of volunteers, and has worked with non-profit organizations. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Northwestern University in Saint Paul and a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Sciences from Saint Catherine’s University. Lynda enjoys managing the Wellstone library, facilitating research, and developing a love of reading with our students.
When not at Wellstone, the educator enjoys being with friends and family, reading (especially non-fiction), being outdoors, hiking, kayaking, biking, going to concerts to hear her sons’s professional performances on the guitar and percussion, and attending musicals at the theater. The lifelong learner also enjoys researching anything and everything.
Ms. Brock grew up in the heartland of the United States but has called Minnesota home for over 20 years. Her long-term sights are set on leaving the cold of the Midwest for the ocean, walking on the beach, collecting shells and listening to the waves crash with a book in hand.
“To ignite a student’s love of learning so that they are empowered to discover and pursue their passions” is the educator’s mission statement that guides her personally and professionally.
