My name is Ben Kristensen and I looking forward to being your teacher this year!  A little bit about myself is that I love to read, travel, be outside, swim and spend time with family and friends. 

This year we will be working on growing your math, reading, word work, and writing skills.  We will also have daily specialist classes that include music, art, drama, dance, and science.  These specialists will rotate throughout the year and will offer students a variety of interactive and creative arts learning.  We will also have special projects throughout the year that will focus on hands-on and interactive activities offering students experiences that will provide classroom engagement and developing social and emotional skills. 

Homework...

 We will have some homework throughout the year, however, it will be minimal and directed mostly at reading outside the classroom, some math assignments, and a few fun projects that will require some work outside the classroom.  We will also have schoolwork posted on our classroom SeeSaw page, which will have class assignments, announcements, and other communications for the whole class. 

School begins at 9:10 and last until 4:00 and below is a brief outline of our daily schedule...
