Ms. Turner

My name is Ms. Turner. This is my 16th-year teaching in St. Paul and my seventh year here.

I grew up in the beautiful county of Northumberland in the north of England where my family still lives. Almost every year I go back and tramp along windswept beaches, investigating shallow rock pools for signs of life.

My undergraduate degree is in social anthropology from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. I have had the good fortune to be able to travel all over the world and discovered my passion for teaching while working in Poland. After moving to the U.S.A, I received an MS in Elementary
I love to read, write, and solve algebraic equations. The Arts have always played a central role in my life, and it is exciting to be working in a school that places them at the core of the curriculum.
In 2015 I was lucky enough to get a scholarship to attend theTeacher's Institute at Colonial Williamsburg for six hot days!
I also was chosen to be part of Learn Zillion's Dream Team to work on an online math curriculum.
In 2016 I attended the Library of Congress Summer Teacher Institute for a week.
