  • Minnesota Sight Day is helping families get ready to go back to school!

    Uninsured or underinsured families can receive free vision care by professionals from Helen Keller International, Allina Health, Essilor Vision Foundation, Lions KidSight, and VSP Vision. Youth ages 16 and under can receive comprehensive vision screenings, exams, and glasses at no cost. No insurance is required. Reserve a timeslot by contacting Korinne Gerhart at kgerhart@hki.org.

    Families are also invited to attend the comprehensive resource fair featuring local organizations that will help you prepare for school this fall:

    • Take home free books in English and Spanish from Minnesota Book Buggie
    • Kids 18 and under can enjoy a free lunch, served between 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in the atrium
    • Ramsey County Public Health will provide free COVID-19 vaccines from 12-4:30 p.m. for anyone ages 5 years old and older who needs a first dose, second dose, or booster shot
    • Children’s Dental Services will provide families with information on accessing dental care
    • Saint Paul Public Schools will have staff available to help families with enrollment, back-to-school questions, and information about Early Childhood Screening
    • Plus more family-focused organizations!
