Hi there! 

My name is Michael Claver (they/he) and I’m so excited to join the BCMS community. Even though this is my first year at The Creek, I am no stranger to middle school! In 2015, I graduated from Millikin University, and went on to teach 6-12 grade choir in the northern Chicago suburbs. In 2018, I began teaching music at The Heights Community School on the east side. 

When I’m not at school, I love to spend time with friends and family, sing Karaoke, learn how to play instruments, go hiking, and keep my Duolingo streak going.
